Macoupin Family Practice Centers, LLP is a community-based private practice group that provides primary care services for patients of all ages.  The practice treats up to 200 patients each day and maintains an active primary care base of approximately 20,000 patients.

Clinical Research

All clinical research activities conducted by Macoupin Family Practice providers are centrally coordinated and managed by highly trained research staff within the Macoupin Research Group (MRG).  The MRG consists of a Principal Investigator, 2 Sub-Investigators and a Clinical Research Coordinator.  The MRG staff have extensive experience conducting Phase II-IV pharmacological trials as well as devise studies.  All research staff are trained in ICH/GCP guidelines.

Located 60 minutes east of St. Louis International Airport, our main clinic is a 6,000 square foot facility with nine exam rooms, a well-equipped laboratory for specimen processing, a secured investigational drug storage facility, specimen refrigerators, a -20o freezer for lab sample storage, dry ice processing, a state-of-the-art computer network with electronic medical records, a dedicated space for study coordinators and monitoring visits, fax access, copier access, high-speed internet, and ample space for study material.
