Physician Bios
Dr. Chris. P. Poirot, M.D.Dr. Chris. P. Poirot, M.D. originally from Nashville, Illinois, graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1978. After completing medical school at the U of I College of Medicine in Rockford in 1982, he served his residency in Family Medicine at the Methodist Medical Center in Peoria from 1982 to 1985. He received the CIBA Geigy Netter Atlas Award for excellence in residency. He was certified by the American Board of Family Practice in 1985 and is a fellow of the American Academy of Family physicians. He was additionally certified in Geriatric Medicine in 1992.
Dr. Brian L. Quarton, M.D.Dr. Brian L. Quarton, M.D. originally from Carlinville, graduated from the University of Illinois in 1991. After completing medical school at Southern Illinois University in 1995, he completed the Family Medicine Residency Program at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana in 1998. He was Chief Resident in his third year. He was certified Diplomat by the American Board of Family Medicine in 1998 and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He is also a Member of the American Academy of Sports medicine.
Dr. Bruce F. Weber, M.D.Dr. Bruce F. Weber, M.D. originally from Henry, Illinois, is a graduate of the University of Illinois and the U of I College of Medicine in Peoria. He completed a three year residency in Family Medicine at the Methodist Medical Center, also in Peoria, in 1985 where he was the Chief Resident in his third year. He was certified by the American Board of Family Practice in 1985 and is a Fellow of the American Board of Family Practice. Upon completion of his residency he entered private practice in Family Medicine. He gained additional certification in Geriatric Medicine in 1992.
Wayne Blevins, PA-CWayne Belvins, PA-C Wayne Blevins, Jr., originally from Dorchester, IL, graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Health Science Physician Assistant degree in 1991. Wayne has been a member of the Florida Academy of physician Assistants serving as President for one year and serving as the Legislative and Government Affairs Chairman for two years. Wayne has been a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants serving two years on the House of Delegates Committee. Wayne has special interests in cardiac diseases, cardiac stress testing, dermatologic procedures and health and wellness.
Mary Amanda Pittman, FNP-CMary Amanda Pittman, FNP-C originally from Southern Illinois, graduated from Southeastern Illinois College with an Associate of Science in Nursing degree in 2010. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2012 from the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, Indiana. Over the past five years Ms. Pittman has worked as a traveling Registered Nurse specializing in acute care and oncology. In 2015, Ms. Pittman graduated with highest honors with a Master’s of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from South University in Savannah, Georgia. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Special interests include preventative health, women’s health, and cheering on the University of Kentucky Wildcats.
Jason Manthei, PA-CJason Manthei, PA-C originally from Janesville, Wisconsin, graduated Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology-Exercise Science. Worked in physical therapy while obtaining his degree, he completed an internship in exercise physiology at the University of California-San Diego. Mr. Manthei obtained a Masters of Medical Science-Physician Assistant degree from Saint Louis University. As part of his training, he completed a preceptorship in internal medicine at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri. Mr. Manthei is a member of the Illinois and American Academies of Physician Assistants and is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Hollie Trettenero, PA-CHollie Trettenero, FNP-C originally from Gillespie, IL, received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2002 from Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville. She obtained her post-graduate certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Maryville University in St. Louis, MO in 2014. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society of Nursing and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She and her husband T.J. and two children reside in Staunton. Mrs. Trettenero’s interests include women’s health, preventative health and diabetes management.
